Brinson, Askew, Berry, Seigler, Richardson & Davis, a longstanding fixture in Northwest Georgia’s legal community, has named David M. Brearley and Lee B. Carter as partners in the firm.
Brearley, who joined the firm in 2008 after graduating from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law, concentrates his practice on estate planning, commercial real estate, corporate and business transactions, corporate governance, and business formations.
Carter has been with the firm since 2011 after working as an associate for three years at the Atlanta office of King & Spalding. Carter is a civil litigator, who represents companies, financial institutions, and individuals in both state and federal court.
“We are fortunate to have two respected attorneys like David and Lee already on our team and able to step into leadership roles,” said C. King Askew, one of the firm’s founding partners.
Founded in 1975 in Rome, Ga., Brinson Askew Berry represents individuals and local, regional, and national companies throughout North Georgia and the metropolitan Atlanta area. More information on the firm can be found at brinson-askew.com or by calling 706-291-8853.
