Jacob C. Harper IV
Jacob C. Harper is a partner of Brinson Askew Berry and serves clients in the firm's business, corporations, and real estate practice areas.
He comes to Brinson Askew Berry after working five years as associate counsel for the Alabama Department of Finance. His primary practice areas were contract, fiscal, administrative, real property, insurance, personnel, and information technology.
He previously worked as an associate with Balch and Bingham, LLP in Montgomery, AL where he assisted in litigation in state and federal court involving commercial, employment, environmental, and personal injury law.
Jacob graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2014. In addition, he graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in Biosystems Engineering with a minor in Agribusiness.
He and his wife, Landon Watters Harper, have one son, Cal. Jacob is an Eagle Scout.
