Brinson Askew Berry senior partner Bob Berry is set to be inducted into the Rome-Floyd Sports Hall of Fame on March 6, 2025, at the Forum River Center. The event, which began in 1971 to recognize outstanding athletes and those who contribute to the growth and development of sports, will include an induction ceremony and banquet.

Bob will be recognized in the category of Meritorious Service, reflecting his dedication to the sports community of Rome for over 30 years. As a Darlington School graduate (’64), Bob has remained active in the athletics program and was honored as a Distinguished Alumnus in 2014.

Bob volunteered with the Darlington varsity basketball program as a community coach, offered his services as a football announcer, and chaired the committee that brought the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) national-championship football game to Rome.

Bob will be honored alongside Kiara Smith Boone, Chuck Kinnebrew, Pat Arrington, and Lowell Thomas Curry, as well as 14 student athletes from local schools who have earned the Rome Orthopaedic Student Athlete Scholarship.
